4th, March, 2015: The boring half way point.

This week hasn`t been much fun at all, if anything everyone is seriously annoyed about whats going on.
So for the second time in year 12 we`ve had to do an Intensive learning week. For the first week (Last year), we had to do a week of work experience and for this week we`ve been taken off of timetable and out lessons have been replaced with some of the most ridiculous and time wasting activities. 

On Monday we had to do this action planning thing on what we want to do after sixth form and what else we intend to do whilst doing that. She gave us three lessons throughout the day but i finished mine in the first 20 minutes of the first lesson in the morning.
after the first lessons we had to go and walk around a careers fair which was actually just a bunch of people from colleges and universitys wanting us to go there after Sixth Form to do their courses instead. Then we had to go back and do action planning; we had no teacher so it was pretty fun and then we had to walk around the careers fair again... A waste of time. After dinner we had to go and finish our action plans again.
So i got home and did my course work... the course work that i`m missing out on for a whole week, the course work that i`m now behind on and the coursework that actually means something to me.

Tuesday we had to do presentations on what we did for work experience.
Yes, sixth form is that utterly pathetic that we had to practice our presentation skills by doing a presentation, that had to be 5 slides long, on what we fucking did for work experience.
so the first lesson was literally them just telling us what we had to do next lesson, they just repeated the same things over and over again. Then we actually made them which took about 10 minutes; then we all hopped on to youtube and watched youtubers play. I watched CinnamonToastKen whilst Paige watched Markiplier.
Then we had to present them in front of a little group of our friends who we had already been with all morning. So that day was also very boring and pointless really. I was expecting a bit more from them for this week and the organizational skills for Monday and Tuesday where ridiculously pathetic. 

But Today was actually much better!
This morning we all wrote professional CV`s; the last time we did those was in year 10 for our first two weeks of work experience. To be honest with you, mine was awesome.
The head of sixth form, Kai, performed this exercise where she would do the same as any other employer, or what she does when she employees people. Which is basically looking at the CV for about 5-10 seconds and then deciding if it should go in the bin, the maybe pile or the yes pile. At the end there where only 6 of us out of 25 that got a yes; me being one of them.
We got our 4th lesson free and had an early lunch. For our 5th lesson we had mock and practice interviews. We had former teachers, principals and deputy heads, then we had labour MPS, business owners, heads of colleges and universities come in too.
We only had two interviews each due to the lack of people that turned up; there was an accident nearby so at least 5 or 6 where held up in traffic and couldn`t make it in time. 

I feel like i did well, i got loads of good feedback from the people that interviewed me and a few corrections from one women who is actually a teacher at the School my sixth Form is based. That same teacher wrote all over some other people`s CV`s which is so rude and annoying. luckily she only circled one thing on mine but on others, there was writing all over them.
The worst thing about the day had to be the fact that we had to dress nicely; loads of the boys just came in their prom suits. I turned up in jeans, boots, a baggy pink top and a navy blue blazer; she did say the day before to not wear jeans... But i don`t even own a dress or a skirt, only jeans.

I`ve just been sat playing Pokemon tonight, i`m tired as fuckkk; just casual blogging and watching youtubers again. I haven`t got much of a life outside of sixth form really.
