27th, March; Getting Ready!

Decaying Sunflower Lino Prints!
So then, if you`ve seen the last update then you would of known about the wave of good luck that seems to of spread across my family. It`s really surprising how quickly everything has turned around for all of us and how we`ve all changed in like a month or so.

For starts, my house is over crowded, we`ve got; me, my two sisters, my mum, my nephew and three dogs all living under one roof which makes everything seriously hectic at the best of times. We`ve all been seriously stressed with the lack of room we all have and the lack of privacy we all have because of everyone being cramped together in the house, so now everything is going to get sorted out!
Earlier on in the month, my younger sister was walking to school and saw a rental sign on a door to a small two bedroomed house and my older sister, Emily, has been looking for a new place for ages and the council hasn`t given her any help to find her a place for her and my nephew. So just having my little sister see that one sign, now means that next week Emily is going to move out and have a place to herself!

We`re all going to help out with the big move, of course we bloody are, we`ll all be painting and trying to make flatpack furniture from Ikea. She`s really excited, well we all are really, it`s going to be seriously strange though without her around as she used to look after me and my little sister when we where younger and she`s always been stuck looking after us and in return we`ve been looking after Owen when she`s at work. My mum and dad in-between them are going to help get everything to the house, it`s not too far away, only a ten minute walk or so.
Skirt and Leotard both from
Ebay!
She`s already been out buying furniture and paint, and she`s already go loads of stuff planned for Owens bedroom; she`s going to have it Nautical themed, little boats and anchors everywhere, most probably the most vintage baby you`ve ever met.

David and I also spent yesterday in derby doing a bit of shopping together, it`s been a while since we did anything like that since we`re always studying and now we`re both always going to be at work at the weekends, so we managed to fit one day in where it was just us together chilling out and spending all of our money on clothes we`d probably never wear... Yeah, I always do that. I also wore a skirt out for the first time in like 4 years! which was quite nice, but I kept on pulling it down since I was getting worried about it going up all of the time we where shopping. I`m not the kind of person to show everyone what I`ve bought or blog about clothes and stuff, but I did buy quite a bit ready for my new job, new trainers, some leggings because they`re the comfiest to walk around in and I`ll be walking and running around all day trying to get the jobs done and I also got tons of new notepads and notebooks so I make sure to get everything right when I`m working there... I literally can`t get anything wrong since my mum works there too, she`s a senior nurse and if I let her down then I`m going to be in a LOT of trouble with her too!
I did also buy myself some personal goodies aswell; new mid-waist jeans that are obviously black, some new grey pumps for sixth form, white and grey baseball top, new tights for when it gets to summer because this year I`m actually going to wear dresses and skirts and then I got a long white blouse! So I guess I did well for myself, I did also get a load of new underwear, but you guys don`t really need to know about that now do you? no you don`t.

The white blouse from Primark only cost £10.00, I had to get
ready super quickly so I could go to the cinemas,
so I thought my new clothes would be the best things
to throw on!
Then later on, I met with my dad and we went to the movies with my Uncle Graham, Auntie Sue and Cousin Tom. By the way, don`t listen to the reviews on Batman vs. Superman because I quite enjoyed it, there where some parts that where all over the place and I got a bit confused and there where some parts that made you question the film a bit... Effects where great, Ben Affleck did a great job in my opinion, even though it looked liked a hench old man in a spandex suit at times. The film was pretty good, there are also a few more superheroes that show up, I`ll only say one of them though and that`s bloody wonder Woman... Like how and why? There are also three other superheroes that we see a clip of on the badguys CCTV monitoring system, obviously I`m not going to say who they are but the three that are left are all men and one of them is only a torso... So yeah.
The film was quite good, I enjoyed it anyways, slightly all over the place and I took a while to get into and understand properly but all in all I quite enjoyed watching it and so did the rest of my family. I just want to know why its getting so many bad reviews and as to why Ben Affleck is getting slated for his job as batman I thought he pulled it off quite well. he`s got the right body type to suit the character, he worked well with the given situation and he suited the secretive smart business guy kind of character... I think he pulled it off very well. Superman however, god he`s aged by a bit, compared to how young he looked in the older films with his baby face, yeah, he`s got on a little bit.
Rather strange film, I thought that there would be more fights in-between the two but nope, still enjoyed it though, there was nothing in there that made me hate it like other people.
People just loooove to pick fault with all of the superhero movies at the moment, there`s only so much that producers can do.

Also, I`ve got the two weeks off of sixth form but I`ll be at work now aswell. So I`m going to try my best to catch up with all of my three blogs and I`m also going to try and get some collage work done aswell, I bought some stuff home to use and Sixth form is open on Wednesday so I`ll also be going in there shortly just so I can scan in my work and then use them on Redbubble for some more designs. If you haven`t been onto Redbubble yet, then you might now know this but, you can now find my boyfriends designs on Redbubble, he`s done some super cute panda illustrations that I`m uploading for him now.
Hopefully I can try and relax a bit more aswell on my days off, I don`t even have that many days off these next two weeks but then again I`m not at work in the middle of the day, it`s either mornings or afternoons which means that I`ll be able to fit time around my shifts.

19th, March; A Wave Of Good Luck!

My sketchbook is completely up to date with every piece of
work I`ve done so far! Finally I can get on with some
practically work.
Even though it was my birthday on Tuesday, you would of thought that I would sit and blog about that for an hour or so. But nope, and I might not even moan about intensive learning week aswell!

On the Monday I got loads of work done and managed to get a lot of preparation work done for this week when I have all of my art lessons back like normal. Tuesday, when we where supposed to be helping out with lessons, I only helped for two hours and then I went back and worked on my last final piece as I was only one mark off of an A grade and then I spent Wednesday and Thursday adding the final touches to it and now it`s actually bang on an A grade! So yay for me!

Friday was a whole day of free study and I managed to catch-up with all of my sketchbook work and now that`s completely finished and up to date so I know longer have to worry about having to do catch up work in there. When no one is in at sixth form aswell I get to use the heat gun without moaning; whenever you use it, you have to have the fire doors wide open and the windows open otherwise it sets off the fire alarms... Like last year when we where using it and the whole school ended up having to leave the buildings, so yeah.
At the moment I`m seriously happy about getting that A grade! I don`t even need it though since I`m at University in September...  But yayyy!

David, at the moment, is also really struggling with his confidence building within his work and it`s gotten to the point where he doesn`t think he`ll fit in at University or his work won`t be good enough for his University course. He originally did have a deviantart account called PhantomScribe, but he never uploaded anything it after his computer broke and his phone was being funny when it came to uploading pictures... So I made him a new account! It`s called DavidCPBattle, since I had no idea as to what he wanted to be called and I`m now in charge of scanning in all of his work and uploading his stuff in his name. He does have the login details so he can access the account aswell, but he mainly does that to see what people think of his work and to respond to all of the feedback. Hopefully it works well and it helps him with his confidence a little bit, I hope it does anyway because scanning all of his stuff in takes a while! At the moment, it`s a lot of Panda drawings and quite a few creepy themed drawings; the creepy kind of ones are for this current project, it`s about the transformation of urban myths and creatures so there`s some weird stuff coming up shortly.
David has also given me permission to upload his work onto designs on Redbubble, any money earned from those will go straight to David!

I do have a bit of good news aswell about the job search; even though I`ve applied for a bunch of them in the past month or so. I haven`t heard back from anyone apart from this one place where my mum works, she works in a care home in West Hallam called Bramble Lodge and they care for elderly people who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer's. They`ve been looking for a part time care assistant at the weekends, it`s only two weekends a month and I`ve had no training in being a care assistant, but my mums boss has kindly says she`s going to put me through all of it when I start working there. I`m looking forward to starting, I start quite quickly actually on the 29th of March for my induction day, then I`ve got two shifts after that to start me off slowly, then I get added to the rota officially and start working there! So I`m really happy about starting there, and how quickly they`ve give me a place.
I`m going to keep on looking for a second job aswell, just fir during the week and in the evenings so I can earn a bit extra before I head off to University.
I`ll be working two weekends a month which will get me about £170 a month, some of it is going to go to my mum and then I`ll leave some to go into a jar for savings and then the rest can just be for spending on things I need at the time. Hopefully I make a few friends whilst I`m working there too, I know a few people who work there at the moment so hopefully they like me... I hope.

Monday 14 March 2016

15th, March; Birthday And Intensive Learning Week!

Unfortunately, Intensive learning week is coming up this week... Intensive learning week is basically not Intensive at all and is a complete waste of time for everybody and I only have one day of art and the only reason that I even have that day is because It`s a free study day.

The whole school and everyone in sixth form has to do this bloody thing, and it`s basically a week of doing nothing productive and everything that you could possibly imagine to waste your precise time.
On the Monday, the majority of people in year 13 have a free study day where they have to come into sixth form, but there will be no teachers and you basically just have to get on with whatever needs doing at the moment. Also, in total there was only about 6 people who came in to Art and actually did some wok, quite surprising when you think that it`s our only day of art for the whole week and we`ve got a three day long exam fastly approaching.
Tuesday, the majority of the art students will be assisting teachers in there year 9 day of learning... So that`s 120 kids coming in and out of the classroom doing this weird recycling workshop thing with Anna Roebuck, also, a whole day of babysitting year 9`s instead of getting on with all of the coursework that`s going to need finishing off soon.
Wednesday, apparently, Is going to be a whole day of working on CV`s, even though I`ve already done my CV since I`ve been looking for a part time job for months now... Still haven`t gotten one btw. Thursday is about eating on a budget for when we go to University or something like that, I haven`t even been told everything clearly to be honest with you all. Friday, is apparently going to be a social event for everyone... Yeah, I don`t like the majority of sixth formers so I`m not going.

The week is practically just a big waste of time; aswell as getting into sixth form early and finishing later for the Art technician job, I`ll be staying behind until 5pm every night to make sure that I don`t fall behind at all, especially with the exam approaching everyone is going to need some sort of extra study time fitted in.. I highly doubt that they`ll do it though. (quite sad really).

if you haven`t red yet, I know have a selling count on Redbubble.com. The link to my profile is at the end of the post with all of the other links, so far I`m really enjoying using the site, I haven`t sold anything so far though, but I think that some of the designs are cute and hopefully selling items on there will help me save up for new sketchbooks and stuff... Hopefully anyways, I need to start selling something on there pretty soon if I want an extra bit of money for my supplies. I have to say, I think the best items on there have to be the cute spiral notebooks and the hardback journals, when I get a bit of money I`m also thinking about ordering one of my designs in a spiral  notebook for University. Photography items look amazing on there too, I`ve used my decaying white rose image to create the designs on the right of the screen, at the moment, I just need to work on advertising all of my products so I have a better chance of someone hopefully buying some of them.

On another note, today is my birthday!
yes, I am finally 18. I don`t think I`ll be doing anything special however, my mums taking me into sixth form with loads of wood that`s been accumulating in my room and I`ll be babysitting 120 year 9 kids for the whole day, in case your not from England, that`s 120 14 year olds I`ll be looking after for the day. This morning I`m going to open my presents since I`ll be staying behind at sixth form and I might not be home until quite late tonight getting coursework done. It may be my birthday, but that won`t stop me from getting my coursework finished.
Right now It`s 6am, I thought I would do the update now since I`ve got a lot going on with redbubble updates, intensive learning week and now my 18th birthday. expect more weirdly timed updates at 6am... There may be more!

Whatever you`re doing, I hope you have a good week and I`ll see you all in the next update! I`m also very sorry for such a short update, but then again It`s 6 in the morning...
(Also, if you have any questions please send them into the facebook page and not Deviantart, it gets awkward to keep on messaging you guys on there).

5th, March; Slowly Getting better

New designs coming soon!
Make sure you keep updated on my Deviantart account!
So then, since last weeks post was quite a negative one and basically a catch-up on my current relationship and how that`s going.
I`m going to start off with something much more positive instead.

David and I are fine now; like I said, we sorted it out in-between us and everything in-between the two of us is completely fine right now. There is a down side to this but I`d like to  start off with something more positive first. We`re going to be seeing each other a lot more and I`m starting to trust him more already, so things are looking up for the both of us.

Another positive thing... IT`S MY BIRTHDAY IN 10 DAYS! yes, in 10 days I will finally be 18, but I`m not a drinker so I think it`ll be a night spent in with some big pizza and Netflix.

The quite weird thing that`s happened this week and is going to have a positive impact on both me and David is that we are now art technicians.
Seems quite weird doesn`t it? Well, our art technician has been off of work now for 4 months due to stress (apparently), she keeps on giving in more doctors notes saying that she`s entitled to time off and she`s still getting paid for these months she`s not working. The teachers themselves seem seriously p*ssed off over the whole thing and they`ve had no help or support for so long now that they are seriously starting to get worried about not being able to teach their lessons properly.

They asked for volunteers and nobody volunteered apart from me and David, our job when we volunteered was just to keep check of equipment and make sure that  there was enough in all of the rooms for all of the teachers. We felt so, so, so bad for them since it`s the exam period coming up soon that we had to volunteer, if anything, I`m disgusted at the amount of art students there are and the amount that just don`t give a c*ap about everyone else. To think only two people volunteered to help out 5 teachers who have no equipment for their lessons and no help from any other members of staff is quite sad really.

Since David and I volunteered to help out to start with, we`ve literally just been handed the technician role from now on. The teachers also want us to have a spare set of keys in-between us so we can get into the storage rooms and the locked equipment cupboards upstairs, so at the moment they`re also placing a c*ap load of trust in both David and me.
At the moment we; collect equipment for all of the classes, arrange cleaning equipment and the movement of heavy equipment with the caretakers, general cleaning duties around the site, we keep track of any equipment being moved in and out of rooms and the storage rooms, set up classrooms if the teachers have a full day ahead of them and the most important thing right now is to make sure that no equipment is being stolen by other students.
Stayed behind on Tuesday to set up for
the lower schools option evening, then
stayed at Davids for the night and ate sooo
much junk food!

I`ve only just started doing it this week, but I`m enjoying it so far. Plus, it`s brilliant to see the smile son the teachers faces when they walk into a room that`s clean and has already been set up for their class.
It`s quite a work out on my legs too, the top of my legs where burning Tuesday night because of all of the running around I had to do straight away. There are small perks, like teachers letting us borrow the odd bits of equipment that we find, being able to organize everything and then knowing exactly where it is (makes life easier), and we both get free dinners from the school! Since we aren`t employed by the school they can`t pay is in money, so at the moment we`re being paid in a free dinner, a free dessert and a free drink every lunch time. It`s quite nice actually, I think the nicest part is that we`re finally getting noticed after everything we do for the teachers lessons; since we`ve actually been helping out for a while now.
Everyone thinks that we`re doing a good job so far, and the amount of staff who recognize us now is quite nice too. the teachers deserve the help, but it is quite tiring at the moment since we have to be at sixth form 45 minutes earlier than usual and then we finish 30 minutes later, and then we have to fit all of the jobs around our studying.
It`s fun, and I get free food out of it!

Now back to the slightly negative part of the update...
if you saw the last update then you would now know of the problem me and my boyfriend have recently faced, I won`t be explaining it all again within this update so just go back to the last one to find out what has happened recently.
Everyone at the moment is pretty half and half about it all, half of the people in the art department now hate me and won`t stop b*tching about me and the other half understand where I`m coming from with all of this and have been quite supportive since everyone else now hates me. It`s also come to my attention, that the "girl" hasn`t explained in full what has happened and at the moment she`s playing victim and making me feel like s*it.
I found out when I explained to someone else as to what had happened behind my back, and one of the girls who had been b*tching about me and had over heard said that she had no idea that it had even happened and a similar thing had happened to her. So maybe everyone right now just has no idea as to what`s happening and I`ve been made out to be the big bad b*tch in this situation, when the only reason all of this has happened is because of her and David.
I`m really not sure what to do about it all right now, the girl has moved into the other art room with a friend and at the moment there`s about 5 or 6 of them that hate me and have made my current week at sixth form pretty s*itty since every time I walk into a room they all immediately go quite and stare at me, so there`s clearly something going on with all of them.

I`m not quite sure how to fix all of this really, on Friday it wasn`t too bad but I know it`ll start getting worse if I don`t do anything, David's told me not to bother since it could possibly make everything worse, but I`m not sure still.
If anything I`m not even sure how to go about it, whatever David has said has made her not tell the truth about the whole thing and has made everyone hate me instantly.
maybe it`ll all die down soon, maybe it won`t, god knows.

Got loads of new design books and
I`ve got a load of work that I`m starting
at the moment!
