27th, June; Relationships and Break ups.

Unfortunately, this update isn`t going to be a rather pleasant one.

After almost two years of being together, me and David have now broken up. I know, there`s tons of pictures of us together on here, but it`s really not all doom and gloom at the moment. We`re still very close and we`re still talking to each other too; there are a lot of reasons that we`ve broken up, but I`m hoping that it`s going to benefit the both of us.
I`d prefer to see this as a loooong break, a very long break. Of course I still have feelings for him, but I just can`t cope with everything that`s going on in my life at the moment; I realize that probably sounds pathetic to some people... But here`s what`s going on.

We`re both going to the same University in September, I filled out all of my forms and student finance forms; and then David was getting frustrated and I had to fill in all of his forms, and his student accommodation forms and make him ring the university when there was a mistake, everything that he`s done has had to be heavily motivated by me. I feel like I`ve been keeping him afloat throughout the relationship.
It`s the same with the job situation, I`ve been trying to help him get a good part time job; but he hasn`t been trying himself, I`ve been sending him job links and I`ve been pointing out different places in town that might have some going. But he hasn`t bothered to look for himself, and this is the thing; Do I want to be with someone who hasn`t even got the motivation to go out and search for a job? he seriously needs one before he begins University in September, he won`t even be able to afford to eat if he doesn`t find a job!! That`s how serious this is at the moment! We`ve been broken up for almost three weeks, and he still isn`t looking for a job!

I`m seriously hoping that going on this relationship break with David will help him become independent enough to get off of his feet and get out there! Of course I still have feelings for him, it`s not like I can click my fingers and they just go away, I just want to be in a happy relationship where we can both be independent in our own ways and we can both have stable jobs whilst we`re at University. To be honest, I`ve been unhappy for a while now since we don`t go out together and have date nights, we never do anything exciting together and we don`t do anything spontaneous anymore... Mainly just stay at home and play video games. Over summer I want to go out and have fun, live a little bit before I head off to University, and hopefully I`ll be going out with work friends and having nights out with my friends for once! Since me and David got together, I put off seeing all of my friends which made me feel terrible, I kind of just dropped everyone since I was in this new and exciting relationship with David.
I still love him, of course I do; But I`m hoping that us breaking up is going to help him realize that he needs to be independent, he needs a job and he needs to learn how to stand on his own two feet when he begins University, I`m not always going to be there to hold his hand and wipe his bum!
I`m still going to support him since he has a terrible relationship with his mother, and him moving into University accomidation is him actually trying to get away from his mum and the way that she lives. It`s actually very complicated, but I`ve helped him through it all; which has put a lot of pressure on me and on our relationship.
In return for trying to stabilize David, it`s reverted me back to being depressed... I`m not blaming it all on him, but I`ve got my own problems to be dealing with and all of the pressure that`s been put on me has bought me down. I`ve only been on the anti-depressants for a month or so but it`s helping me lift my spirits.

We`ll be fine, It`ll just take some time!

Apart from all of this relationship business...
My boss at Bramble Lodge might be needing my help with a small wall project, she just needs to decide as to where she wants it going in the home and then she`s going to be asking for help; apparently anyways, my older sister told me that she wants to see me soon to discuss the project, but I saw her the other day and she didn`t say anything about it. I hope she does want my help with it, it`ll be seriously cool to be involved with a project like this, and it`ll look brilliant in my portfolio!

Also, since I`ve gained two new sewing machines, there should hopefully be quite a bit of new textile bits being uploaded onto the Art blog; I hope so anyway. I`ve been hunting around a bit for brand new knitting needles and fabric, I luckily found a cute little shop in Ilkeston that sells brilliant fabric at a seriously good price! I bought half a metre of the cutest fabric for just £2.65!

7th June; Is Romwe Legit? I find out!

Prior to leaving sixth form and having a seriously long summer until University, I thought about what I could potentially blog about whilst I wait to start university...

The one thing I`ve never wanted to blog about...

There is a good reason as to why I took the ears off of this

The image on the site didn`t show the ears, (at first) so I had to

un-pick both shoulders completely, remove the fabric ears and

then re-stitch the whole thing back together.
If the site had shown the ears, then I wouldn`t of bought

the jumper in the first place.

CLOTHES!

blogging about clothes/fashion has always seemed like a big no, no to me. It seems like such a basic thing to blog about these days, and it also seems to be some kind of stereotype for female bloggers since that`s all you ever see on YouTube and facebook these days.
Don`t get me wrong, I`m not against it or anything, It`s just that I`ve tried to make these blogs more about me as a person and not about clothes and cute vintage things... which clearly bring in the views amongst women these days.

But seeing as I`ve officially been signed off of Sixth form now, and I`m going to end up having an extra long and rather boring summer. I already know that I`ll be too lazy to do anything that interesting, so this will have to do until my life becomes a bit more interesting!

To start off with, I`ll be adding the product clothes below the images of the item in case anyone likes them!

So then, back to Romwe...

Romwe is a site that keeps on being advertised on facebook and youtube at the side of videos and at the side of my timeline/newsfeed, and I have to say, I`ve liked some of the stuff that they sell for quite a while now. They also show some quite unique jumpers that I would probably struggle to find on the normal highstreets nearby.
After finally getting paid, I thought, why don`t I order something off of here? Now, after seeing some of the ridiculously cheap prices, I thought it would be best to check if it was actually a legitimate site that I can trust. I found some quite reviews, and also some bloggers who receive free items for promoting the site. But I also found some quite bad reviews about certain elements of the company.
I saw a lot online about the size problems, people saying that everything they ordered was too small and that it couldn`t even fit a toddler, so everything that I ordered was a size or two bigger than my actual size (which is small or extra small, cause let`s just face it, I`m a toddler).

So, I didn`t want to order too much just in case they weren`t a trusted site, so I bought five different products which came to a total of £43.45; To be honest, I`ve bought just a plain grey shirt from vans that was £40, so Romwe is quite bloody good on their prices.
But this is why I thought that they weren`t legit, because the prices are just that cheap that you`d think that you was buying something quite dodgey.

The clothes:The clothes are super comfy, especially the Alien crop top, the Totoro jumper and the black and white striped t-shirt. The knitted jumper was quite thick and felt a bit heavy, but was brilliant for when it dropped cold, and the Totoro jumper was really fleecey and was super soft to wear... But, the totoro jumper had ears? Turns out, they where folded down on the image, so it wasn`t clearly shown that it did have little ears on the shoulders. The finish on one of the crop tops was terrible, and there where threads all tangled up and lose on the tie which I wasn`t too happy with. The alien crop top was slightly see through, but that can be easily corrected with a white bra underneath. The materials used do feel very fine/thin, so you can tell that they`re cheaply made which would then explain the pricing of the products.

But overall, the products are comfy, they got the sizes I ordered right and I`m quite content with the items I received.

Delivery:

Now, the delivery service for the products was quite good! Usually when I order things online, it`ll take about a month for it too all arrive, but these guys did it quite quickly and kept me updated all the way through the delivery process. Once you`ve made your order on Romwe, you`re given a code and a link to follow; once you`ve clicked the link you`ll be taken to a tracking page, if you enter your code you`ll be able to see where your parcel is and what stage of delivery it`s currently at.

which make it itchy and

uncomfortable for me to wear...
Which is why I actually haven`t

worn it out of the house yet!

the only thing that I wasn`t happy about is the day that it was delivered; they didn`t warn me the day before that the products where going to be delivered on that day, and they didn`t say what time aswell which meant that I could of been waiting all day if I wasn`t going out... But as I was going out, I left a note on the front door; the note told the delivery guy to throw the parcel over the back gate since nobody would be in. Luckily he did, and a lot of delivery men are quite rude and can`t be bothered to do something as simple as that, so credit to the guy who delivered my clothes for me!


My advice for anyone who orders off of Romwe is to definitely check the size guide, and if unsure, then order a size up so you know it`s going to fit you. The clothes I ordered are all medium and large when I`m actually a small, and they fit quite well and are comfortable to wear.
The prices on there are amazingly, but don`t be fooled since the fabrics do feel quite thin; so if you aren`t comfortable with

people seeing your bra, then don`t order anything lightly coloured as it`ll most likely be see through.
Always check the reviews on certain items, the items I ordered where amazingly comfy and are casual for summer. But always check the finish on the items through other peoples opinions because there may be items on there that seem perfect like the one you bought last month... But the finish on it is completely different.
WHATEVER YOU DO, JUST CHECK!
I can`t stress that enough, the prices are amazingly cheap, my items where great... but if I hadn`t of checked other peoples reviews before hand, then I wouldn`t of known to order a size bigger in the first place.
JUST BLOODY CHECK YOU LAZY PEOPLE!
